RULES
1. Hundred balls per innings
2. 8 aside T20 cricket
3. Games last for 2 hours
4. Maximum of 5 balls per over
5. Wide balls count as 2 runs
6. No balls count as 2 runs and a free hit
7. Wide and No Ball runs go to team score
8. Anything down leg is deemed wide
9. Mandatory powerplay first 2 and last 2 overs. 3 fielders on the leg and off side during powerplay overs.
10. Non striker to return to their original end after a caught dismissal.
11. Batsman to retire at 50 and can come back after the fall of the 6th wicket.
12. Fall of the 7th wicket brings an end to the innings.
13. In case of rain, 40 balls in the second innings constitute a game
14. No restriction to run up
15. League points :
1] 2 points for a win.
2] 1 point for a draw
3] 2 points for 20% bonus point
4] 1 point for matching shirts
5] 1 point for matching pants
16.Player Qualification for Play Offs :
1] A player must have played 2 league games to qualify for play offs.
2] If a team can’t field players who played 2 league games, they can get any player but he can only bowl 10 balls and bat 8.
3] Play offs, Any player who has played in the play offs can’t help any other team playing in the play offs. If a team is short and they can’t get any other player, they will have to play short.
17 : Rain
Blast100.com have the right to make a call in case of rain. Games can only be called off an hour before start time.
18 : Match fees
1. Match fees have to be paid in full and in advance. Umpires won’t start any games if match fees haven’t been received in full.
2. Refunds:
a) No refunds will be effected in the case where Blast100.com can still host games. Any game/s affected by rain or other factors will be rescheduled.
b) In case of a refund, refund will be made within 7 working days into the bank account of the concerned team organiser.
19 :Cancellations
1. Any cancellation a day before match day, the team that cancelled will be docked a point, opponents will be awarded winning points and kit points
2. Cancellations on match day. Team at fault will be docked a point. Defaulting team will be liable for full match fees as well as that of the opponents.
